Past: Halbarads childhood lasted for only a few years and it was all leading up to joining teh battle academy. At 8 he was working around the house and had very little time to himself. Halbarad was inlisted into the Minas Tirith battle academy at th age of 15. For the next 8 years he worked tirelessly to become one of the eilite, and hopefully be chosen for one of the guard of the fountain. As a guard of the fountain you stood in the blazing sun on the top levle of Minas Tirith and guarded the white tree. The guards never saw battle, but to be chosen as one was the ultimit honor and only the eilit of the academy were choosen. Saddly he never achived his goal and had to become a regular sodier, even with this set back he has lived up to being a soldier of Gondor. Once the dark tower had been raised again his blade was kept sharp and there were few times when his armor wasn't on. By the time he was 40 he had fought in more than 20 skirmishes and had become a trusted soldier of teh Gondorian army.
