Idril continued running from Shurgurt. She was not sure where she was going, though....She ran through the vast green pastures. There were no signs of civilization. The only sounds that Idril could hear were the birds and her horse, trotting through the land at high speeds. It is about time to go to bed, Idril thought.
Idril pulled back her white stallion's reins and jumped off. She opened her sack and pulled out a large cloth and many wooden stakes to make a tent. She also pulled out a few pieces of wood, and started a fire. She saw a deer running through the plains, so she ran after it, killed it, and cooked it over the fire. Peace at last, she thought, the air of the night blowing through her face. She pulled out her sword and stroked the edges. She looked behind her, and saw a figure standing on the grass.
Idril was a bit scared. Maybe it is Shurgurt back to get me, she thought. Even if it is, I will be ready this time. She walked closer to the figure and saw that it was a man, though she could not identify his race. "Who is out there?" She called, pulling out her sword, ready to attack.

"Ah, hello!" Idril said. "You have no idea how relieved I am..." She did not want to tell him about Shurgurt...She was worried that the man would take her for a coward...but she decided that a fellow ranger would understand. "I am also a ranger...and yes, an orc passed this way. I could not kill him alone, though...I might need your help. I am not sure where he is going...Probably Mordor, though."

Idril looked at the man. He was, like her, an elf. He was muscular with broad shoulders, though she could not determine his details in the dark. "I would love to go to Minas Tirith with you...Let me just get my horse and my supplies." She took apart her tents, put out her fire, and then whistled. Her horse ran to her side and she jumped on. "Let's go," she said, putting her supplies into her sack.

Elbereth jummped on his horse too. And started off a a trot but was soon bringing his horse to a gallop. This doesn't feel right. Ithink orcs are near.

Idril felt something strange. "We should have stayed back at my camp...I think that orcs are near," she said. She looked at her horse, Frost, who was shaking a bit. Frost feels it too, she thought. She rode with one hand, keeping the other on her sword's handle. "I will not be caught off guard," she said.
